Landscape construction is the discipline of landscape architecture that focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of outdoor space.

What is included in landscaping construction services?

An excellent landscape starts with a well-planned and tasteful concept. We are proud to work with Alica Dusil on our designs. They are efficiently and meticulously crafted to meet each client’s specific needs. Her hands-on, practical approach to the end of construction ensures that the initial vision is translated into the final product.

Once the design has been approved, landscape construction will start. This process begins with soil preparation in which, depending on what is required in landscape design, topsoil is removed and stockpiled for later use. After excavation, the area needs to be graded (to provide proper drainage) and then features such as decks, walkways, patios and walls are installed. 

The landscape is then seeded, fertilized and mulched. The plants used in landscape construction can be either container-grown or bare-root, and these plants are usually ordered from a nursery after the landscape design has been finalized.

Once landscape construction is complete, landscape maintenance ensures that the landscape is up-kept.

Irrigation System Installation and Maintenance

We provide complete design and installation using TORO® and RAINBIRD® products. Our design process is automated to ensure accurate and efficient water usage. We also install backflow prevention devices. Spring opening and fall winterization services are available.

Softscaping Services

Softscaping can be both permanent, such as trees and shrubs, and temporary, such as seasonal plants, which can add colour to walkways and patios. 

We only use certified materials that are proven to have adapted to local environmental conditions and often require less care.
